About Farideh
Farideh Peacock was educated at St Martin School of Art, London. She continued her training at Leeds, England at the workshop of Eric Taylor, the distinguished British abstract painter and former president of Leeds College of Art. In 1986 she moved to the United State and obtained a B.F.A in painting from Herron School of Art, Indiana University. She was the recipient of the Marvin Bradley scholarship awarded for recognition of outstanding work. In 1994 she joined the Faculty of the Indianapolis Art Center, being honored with the Outstanding Instructor of the year award in 2006.
Her paintings are in private collections in Britain and the United States. Exhibitions include Swarthmore college of Art, Leeds, England; Herron Gallery of contemporary Art, Hoosier Salon; University Place Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis; Edyvean Repertory theater, Christian Theology Seminary; Indianapolis Art Center; and Butler University International society
